THE JOY OF SELLING YOUR HOME
On rare occasions in one's life it is necessary to make a major decision which will have a significant bearing on their financil future. Perhaps the most major decision deals with the necessity of departing from your "home"----brought about by the selling of your "house"! (do you remember the old poem which says "It takes a heap of living to make a house a home"!) Well the results of that decision frequently involves the necessity of selecting some knowledgeable person to guide you through the importatn financial and legal activities required. That person is an experienced realtor.
Somewhere along the line somebody gave me some good advice. When you decide to sell your "home" engage at least three realtors make their pitch as to how they would proceed to market your "house". Each time I have been invloved in the sale of a house I have followed that advice and I have been very satisfied with the end results of that recommendation.
Ans so three realtors from the Sunshine Coast were given the opportunity to come and make a presentation. They all were all professionals but there was one presentation that stood head and shoulders above the other two. That successful presentaion made by the husband and wife team, Steven and Tray Koss, Sutton West Coast Realty.
They came well prepared with a presentation that was well documented, with information that appeared to be up to date, they were prepared to tell of successes they had in the area as well as furnish references for me to contact. In addition to the sales data they presented me with they verbally gave me step -by-step procedure they would be following during the selling process and right thru to the final closing activity. One other action they took that none of the other two realtors did was: they walked me through the house pointing out both large and small items that they felt would not be conducive to selling the house. As a closing part of their presentaion they told me the price that they would suggest. That price was higher than I had expected and it also was not the highest price suggested by one of the other realtors!
Their appearance prived they were both courteous and competent sales persons who were attemppting to sell their wservices, to me , and they were successful for I awarded them the oppourtunity to sell my home.
It was Friday when we came to a contrct agreement (and they were confident of their presentation) for immediatley after the agreement was signed a For Sale Sign was in my front yard and within the hour every realtor received an email letting them know they likewise had an oppourtunity to sell. By noon the next day an offer was made and I accepted and the house was sold.
At that they continued with their plan and contacted my lawyer in order to supply the necessary information to complete the paperwork.
When the money was put in the bank the three of us met together to celebrate a successful venture.
I want to go on record, to tell any potential customer of theirs, that I was 100% satisfiedwith the husband and wife team of Steven and Tracy Koss, Sutton West Coast Realty, and I have absolutely no hesitancy whatsoever to recommend their services. They both are excellent representatives of the Real Estate Industry.
